Superficially, the new website looks very similar to the old. However, it has actually been completely rebuilt in Drupal, so that up to 4 contacts at a school can upload content (news, resources, events). Students can upload videos, photos, presentations, and register their student clubs. Got something we should add to the site? Send it to info@greenschoolsalliance.net we'll post if it's beneficial to schools. Finally, you can "ask an expert" about almost anything you can think of! So excited that it is finally launched. We are going to build out the toolkit and resource pages in a big way but the framework is there for it to scale it to whatever size we want. Think of it as Google for green schools...but it's much more. Member schools will be able to upload their profile pages, share best practices, and track their energy and climate emissions data. They can use the website to conduct research, identify and share curriculum and resources, and ultimately achieve energy reduction and educational goals. Our job is to connect and support all schools that are taking action on climate change and the environment in a meaningful, result oriented way.
